Obit Magazine

I found this online magazine while Googling - it seems to be a pretty interesting mag, it says that it "examines life through the lens of death." Their scope includes topics you would find in other online mags like Salon or Slate - Arts, Sports, Books, Business, etc. all with a death slant to them. Their article about Graffiti Memorials also made me remember an article my friend Jenn Shreve once wrote about Memorial T-shirts a few years ago.

About this Blog

I thought I would explain a little about this blog. It from a one-shot zine that I did, called Decease: Exploring the Culture of Death, back in 2002? or 03?. I solicited articles, created and printed the zine (interior was laser-printed and the cover I silkscrened). I debuted it at APE that year, sold a good amount and got a nice response. I had every intent of creating issue #2, but life pulled me away from it. By 2008 I wanted to resurrect the idea, but decided to save my cash and do it as a blog instead. And here we are. I would love audience contributions, so please feel free to email me!
